Mt. Yeonhwa, 1,170 meters above sea level, is a mountain stretching from Mt. Maebong (Cheonuibong).
It is located at the center of Taebaek-si. When observed from Mungok Station, it takes the shape of a lotus flower, from which the name "Yeonhwa" is derived.
Its main peaks are Oknyeobong and Tugubong. From its summit unfolds a panoramic view of Taebaek-si.
At the base of the path leading up the mountain there is a variety of things to see, for example Yeonhwasan, Chunghon Tower and Yeonhwa Falls
