One day their mother became sick, was transformed into a snake, and almost died. The sons did their best to find a cure for her, but to no avail. One day, in a dream, the mother met a god and was told to go to a pond located on the ridge of Mt. Taebaeksan along the upper stream of the Nakdong River. The next day, a dragon horse awaited her at their gate, and took her to this pond. She entered the pond, and was transformed into a human dragon.
