This valley is located within Taebaeksan Provincial Park. It was created by converging waters from Yongjeong in the middle of Mt. Taebaeksan and from various surrounding valleys. This smooth 3-km-long valley is full of flat rocks, making it a good resting place. The water is so cold that you cannot immerse your hands for more than a minute, even in summer. This surrounding hills are breathtaking, full of strange rock formation rarely seen on Mt. Taebaeksan. The valley is HOME to such famous sites as Sinseonam, Byeongpungam, Janggun Bawi and Coal Museum. Picnic sites and condominium-type residential lodging are available.
